Banana + Peanut Butter (Shut Up, It Works)

The snack that has outlasted every diet trend since 1962.

One banana. Two tablespoons of peanut butter. That's it. That's the recipe. It's faster than walking to the vending machine, cheaper than a protein bar, and actually contains ingredients your grandmother would recognize as food.

1

Peel The Banana

Peel a banana. You know how to peel a banana. If you're reading this step and confused, go outside.

2

Get The Peanut Butter

Two tablespoons. Use an actual tablespoon — eyeballing it leads to four tablespoons, and now it's 400 calories, genius.

Read the label. If it has more than two ingredients (peanuts + salt), put it back and get a better brand.
3

Eat It

Dip the banana. Take a bite. Repeat until banana is gone. Alternatively: slice the banana, spread PB on top, eat with a fork like a tiny savage.

That's The Snack. Stop Looking.

You are now full. You do not need chips. You do not need a second snack because this one was "too small." It wasn't. It was about 290 calories with 9g of protein and real fiber. You're good until your next meal. Go do something.

If you're about to eat three of these in a row, you're not snacking — you're grazing. Drink water. Wait 20 minutes.
